The RaceQuip 122 Series Multi Layer Fire Suit Pants are SFI-5 certified racing pants engineered to deliver maximum fire protection, durability, and comfort for competitive motorsport use. Designed with a high-performance multi-layer construction, these pants provide superior thermal resistance while maintaining flexibility and breathability.
These pants feature a three-layer construction consisting of a durable Pyrovatex® FRC outer layer, a Nomex® middle insulating layer, and a soft Pyrovatex® FRC inner lining. The Pyrovatex® material retains the softness and breathability of cotton while providing strong flame and heat resistance. It also wicks moisture away from the skin to improve comfort during extended use. The treatment process bonds the fire-retardant properties at a molecular level, helping maintain performance over time when properly cared for.
The Nomex® middle layer provides inherent fire resistance and acts as a thermal barrier for enhanced protection in extreme conditions. All seams are constructed using heavy-duty multi-needle over-lock safety stitching to ensure maximum strength and durability under racing stress.
These pants carry a TPP rating of 25 and meet or exceed SFI 3.2A/5 safety standards, making them suitable for professional-level racing applications.
