Description
The RaceQuip PRO20 SA2020 Full Face Racing Helmet in Flat Black (XL) is a high-performance motorsports helmet designed to deliver superior protection, durability, and comfort. Manufactured by RaceQuip using modern production techniques, this helmet meets and exceeds Snell SA2020 standards, making it suitable for a wide range of racing applications and typically accepted by sanctioning bodies through 2030.
The FRP composite shell is constructed using pre-preg materials formed in pressurized steel molds, providing an ideal balance of lightweight performance and structural strength. Inside, an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner enhances impact absorption, while the comfort-fit blended Nomex® interior ensures fire resistance and long-lasting comfort during extended use.
Equipped with reinforced M6 threaded inserts, this helmet is fully compatible with HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint (HNR) systems. Anchor posts are not included but can be easily installed using the integrated mounting points. The 3mm distortion-free polycarbonate faceshield delivers excellent clarity and features a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, adjustable friction lock, and hand-ratcheting tear-off posts with multiple positions. A silicone eyeport gasket helps seal out dust and debris.
A wide eyeport provides excellent peripheral vision and allows for the use of personal eyewear. Ventilation is enhanced through exhaust vents located on the top and rear of the helmet, helping to keep the driver cool. Additional safety features include a Kevlar® chin strap and fully fire-retardant interior and paint. The aerodynamic FRP shell design, complete with a medium-sized chin spoiler, improves stability at higher speeds.
