The RaceQuip Red Camlock 6-Point Harness is a high-performance racing safety system built to meet the rigorous FIA 8853-2016 standard. Featuring a 6-point configuration, this RaceQuip harness utilizes dual 2-inch moustache-style crotch straps for improved comfort and optimal load distribution. The 2-inch lap and shoulder belts are engineered to properly integrate with head and neck restraint systems, ensuring maximum safety and compliance during high-speed driving.
The pull-down lap belt design allows for quick and effective tightening by pulling the belts downward and away from the camlock buckle, providing a secure and consistent fit. At the center of the system is a lightweight magnesium alloy dual-direction camlock buckle, offering smooth operation and rapid release when needed. The wide engagement cone enables easy latch-in at multiple angles, making driver setup faster and more efficient.
Constructed from premium smooth monofilament polyester webbing, this harness is built for durability and long-term performance. Black oxide coated drop-forged steel hardware enhances strength and corrosion resistance, while premium aluminum shoulder adjusters allow for precise and reliable adjustments.
This system includes snap hook ends and eyebolts for secure mounting. The camlock buckle remains attached to the crotch strap when not in use, improving convenience during entry and exit. FIA certification allows this harness to be used in many sanctioned racing events for up to five years before replacement is required.
