PSR Parts FEMTO Unlock BMW M 06/2020+ - BMW M Cars WITH V8 - FEMTO for Bosch ECU for ECU Remap Chiptuning FEMTO-BMW-G-M-V8

BMW M models equipped with V8 engines and manufactured from June 2020 onward are fitted with factory-locked Bosch ECUs/DMEs, preventing conventional ECU tuning and performance remapping. The FEMTO Unlock Service for BMW M V8 Models provides a specialized solution to unlock these ECUs, enabling full access for advanced performance tuning.

This service is intended exclusively for BMW M vehicles with V8 engines and dual Bosch ECUs. Once unlocked, both ECUs will be fully compatible with PSR Parts Performance Custom Tuning, Bootmod3, and MHD, allowing Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 ECU remaps.

FEMTO Unlock Process

1. Both ECUs/DMEs must be physically removed from the vehicle

2. You may ship the ECUs to us or bring the vehicle to our workshop for inspection

3. We verify whether the ECUs are locked

4. If locked, the ECUs are sent to FEMTO in Finland for unlocking

5. The ECUs/DMEs are returned, unlocked and ready for tuning

⚠️ Important: The vehicle cannot be driven while the ECUs are removed.

Turnaround Time

• Typical processing time is 3–5 working days after express shipping to Finland

• As the unlocking process is performed by FEMTO (third party), turnaround time cannot be guaranteed
