PSR Parts FEMTO Unlock BMW M 06/2020+ - BMW M Cars - FEMTO for Bosch ECU for ECU Remap Chiptuning FEMTO-BMW-G-M

BMW M models manufactured from June 2020 onward are equipped with factory-locked Bosch ECUs/DMEs, which prevent conventional ECU tuning and performance remapping. The FEMTO Unlock Service for BMW M Cars provides a professional and proven solution to unlock these ECUs, allowing full access for performance software upgrades.

This service is designed exclusively for BMW M vehicles with a single Bosch ECU. Once unlocked, the ECU/DME will be fully compatible with PSR Parts Performance Custom Tuning, Bootmod3, and MHD tuning platforms, enabling Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 remaps.

FEMTO Unlock Process

1. The ECU/DME must be physically removed from the vehicle

2. You may ship the ECU to us or bring the vehicle to our workshop for inspection

3. We verify whether the ECU is locked

4. If locked, the ECU is sent to FEMTO in Finland for unlocking

5. The ECU/DME is returned, unlocked and ready for tuning

⚠️ Important: The vehicle cannot be driven while the ECU is removed.

Turnaround Time

• Typical unlock time is 3–5 working days after express shipping to Finland

• As the unlocking process is performed by FEMTO (third party), turnaround time cannot be guaranteed
