The Mosselman Single Oil Cooler Kit is engineered to resolve the oil temperature limitations commonly found in BMW E-series vehicles equipped with the N54 and N55 engines. Developed by Mosselman Turbo Systems, this high-capacity oil cooling solution delivers improved thermal stability under spirited driving, track use, and tuned applications.
BMW’s factory oil cooling system can struggle during prolonged high-load operation. The Mosselman Single Oil Cooler Kit replaces the OEM oil cooler on the right side of the vehicle with a larger, more efficient Setrab 19-row oil cooler, allowing significantly improved heat dissipation and consistent oil temperatures even under demanding conditions.
This kit is designed for performance-focused drivers and tuners who demand reliable oil temperature control. For optimal performance and proper oil warm-up behavior, Mosselman strongly recommends combining this kit with the MSL Oil Thermostat, which is sold separately.
This product is not plug-and-play. Minor vehicle modifications are required to accommodate the larger oil cooler and stainless steel mounting bracket. Estimated installation time is approximately 3 hours.
Important information for BMW 335i N55 owners:
If the optional Mosselman MSL Oil Thermostat is selected, this application requires the MSL N54 Thermostat (Part Number 030210050). Orders will be supplied accordingly.
