Bedding-In Procedure:
For optimal pad performance and longevity:
- Perform 10 controlled stops from 60mph (100kph) to 5-10mph (10-15kph), accelerating quickly back to speed between each stop.
- Avoid coming to a complete stop during this process to prevent pad material transfer.
- You may notice a light smell or slight brake smoke around the 8th or 9th stop—this is normal and part of the bedding-in phase.
- Allow the brakes to cool completely before hard driving.
