The MMR55-1605 features an adjustable center section that can be installed at the OEM factory differential height or 10mm higher (+10mm). This allows the same differential bush to be used on vehicles with factory ride height as well as lowered vehicles where maintaining appropriate drivetrain geometry is important.
Improved Differential Control
The factory rubber differential mounting system allows a degree of differential movement under acceleration, braking, gear changes, and other drivetrain loads. +10mm Raised Position for Lowered G8X Vehicles
When a G8X BMW is lowered, the reduction in ride height can alter the operating geometry of the driveshaft and rear axle components. The +10mm raised position allows the rear differential mounting point to be repositioned upward, helping compensate for changes caused by lowered suspension.
Restoring the differential position can help reduce drivetrain operating angles and may help minimize excessive heat and wear associated with unfavorable axle and CV joint angles. This makes the adjustable MMX bush particularly useful for modified and lowered BMW G87 M2, G80/G81 M3, and G82/G83 M4 applications.
Designed for MMX 3-Point and 4-Point Differential Mounting Systems
The MMR55-1605 is designed to work as part of the MMX Performance G8X differential mounting system. It can be installed individually with the MMX height-adjustable front differential cradle to create a 3-point differential mounting configuration, or two rear bushes can be combined with the MMX Dual Differential Mount to create a 4-point mounting configuration.
The adjustable center section allows the mounting system to be configured consistently at either the OEM height or +10mm raised height.

For a more comprehensive differential mounting solution, the MMX 4-point configuration utilizes two MMR55-1605 rear bushes together with the MMX Dual Differential Mount.
Required components:

The additional rear bush utilizes the factory-unused mounting location, creating an additional differential mounting point. For proper alignment, configure the complete system at the same OEM or +10mm raised height.
Installation
The MMX Rear Differential Raised Poly Bush installs into the factory rear differential mounting location as a direct replacement for the original bush. No chassis modification is required.
During installation, the center section can be positioned at either the OEM differential height or +10mm raised position, depending on the vehicle's suspension setup and desired differential geometry.
For vehicles using the MMX 4-point system, select the 2x Bush Kit to provide both rear mounting bushes required for the additional mounting location.
