By increasing oil capacity and controlling oil movement inside the differential, the MMX Performance sump delivers more consistent lubrication, reduced thermal stress, and improved drivetrain stability during hard cornering, acceleration, and extended track sessions.
Increased Oil Capacity, Cooling, and Lubrication Control
This MMX Performance differential sump increases total oil capacity by up to 2 litres (2.10 quarts), ensuring the differential remains properly lubricated even during prolonged high-load driving. The integrated CNC-machined billet windage tray continuously feeds oil to the gears and pinion while reducing internal drag and oil aeration.
Internal and external cooling fins significantly increase surface area, allowing faster heat dissipation and more stable differential temperatures on both road and track.

Under extreme use, factory differential oil starvation can trigger drivetrain protection warnings. This MMX Performance sump helps prevent the “Rear Axle Differential Lock: Driving Stability Limited” warning by maintaining consistent oil supply and temperature control, allowing uninterrupted driving and track time.
External Cooling Ready
For higher-demand builds, the sump includes an additional -8AN port along with an M22 to -8AN adaptor, allowing straightforward integration of an external differential oil cooler.
