MMX Performance F8X M2 / M3 / M4 High-Capacity Baffled Differential Sump MMR55-1000

The MMX Performance F8X High-Capacity Baffled Differential Sump (MMR55-1000) is engineered for BMW F87 M2 and M2 Competition, F80 M3, and F82/F83 M4 applications. Precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this high-capacity differential sump replaces the factory BMW differential oil pan while increasing differential oil capacity by up to 2 liters. It features an internal windage tray, additional cooling surface area, and an integrated -8AN cooler port to improve differential lubrication and thermal management during sustained street or track use.

The internal windage tray is designed to maintain consistent gear and pinion lubrication during acceleration, braking, and cornering while helping reduce unnecessary oil churn and component drag. Internal and external cooling fins increase surface area to improve heat dissipation from the differential oil during repeated high-load driving.

An integrated -8AN port provides a connection point for an external differential oil cooling system and includes an M22 to -8AN adapter. The extra-wide internal windage tray is designed to accommodate Drexler and other compatible F8X mechanical limited-slip differentials without requiring internal trimming of the sump.

The MMX Performance billet differential sump installs directly to the factory mounting points with no permanent modification required. It can also be combined with the MMX F8X Dual Differential Mount and MMX Front Differential Lift Mount / Cradle as part of a complete F8X differential mounting and cooling system.
