The MMX Performance Aluminum BMW DCT Oil Pan is a high-engineering upgrade designed to overcome the structural and thermal limitations of the factory plastic transmission sump. Developed and manufactured in the UK after extensive performance testing, this unit is precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, delivering a significant improvement in strength, heat management, and long-term reliability for BMW dual-clutch transmission (DCT) applications.

One of the key advantages over the OEM plastic pan is its increased oil capacity of up to 1.4 liters (1.48 quarts), which enhances thermal stability and ensures more consistent lubrication under sustained load conditions. This makes it especially beneficial for spirited road driving, track use, and high-performance builds where transmission temperatures are critical.

Thermal performance is further improved through an integrated external fin design, which increases surface area and promotes more efficient heat dissipation.
