Our design starts from scratch, eliminating all plastic components and replacing them with durable aluminum end tanks, core, and inlet/outlet ports. The full aluminum construction is TIG-welded for maximum durability, ensuring optimal performance even under extreme conditions. To further enhance its strength, we incorporated strutted tubes within the heat exchanger core, providing additional resistance against bowing and flexing during aggressive cornering.
Strength is not the only focus of our design. We have also significantly increased the size of our heat exchanger, resulting in a 31% increase in core volume and a remarkable 48% increase in external fin surface area. These improvements, combined with our dual-pass flow configuration and louvered fin design, deliver outstanding results. Our tests have shown a 5-7°F drop in intake air temperatures, resulting in improved performance and a more consistent global intercooler coolant temperature.
