It doe not allow the intake pipe up top to line up anymore with the grommet unless I either shorten the inlet or the intake pipe however. w that is in the notched section of the adapter is the most ill conceived part of this. . I fiddled with that for about an hour trying to get it threaded in enough but it wouldn't and was preventing the pipe from seating all the way onto the adapter. . so i used an old DV bolt that had the same thread pitch and bolt length as the stock inlet pipe but a hex head and rounded it into place and it sat perfectly in there. It was so much easier with that as I could use a rounded hex screw driver offset to help pull it flush to the compressor housing. There also was not enough space between the adapter and the turbo oil line to allow it to seat fully against the adapter AND get the adapter seated properly so I had to get a few threads on the bolt then worm clamp the pipe onto the end of the adapter and use the bolt to help pull the pipe past the oil line. Once seated then I could loosen the clamp and finish sliding it all the way flush and retighten.
