Description
The MG Flasher License is a VIN-locked flashing license required to enable full tuning access for BMW B48/B46 engines across F and G series platforms equipped with MG1 ECUs. This license is mandatory in order to flash any OTS (Off-The-Shelf) or custom maps using MG Flasher. OTS maps are not included with this license.
Important Fitment & Regional Notice
- Do not purchase this license for B48B16 in Turkey.
- Customers in Turkey must contact the official dealer or support before purchase.
- This license is compatible only with BMW B48/B46 F and G series platforms.
ECU Compatibility & Unlock Requirements
- ECUs manufactured July 2020 and newer are supported.
- Bench unlock required via Femto or AutoTuner.
- ECU must be sent to an authorized unlock provider or unlocked by a qualified third-party tuner.
- Some recent ECU software versions may require bench or OBD unlock.
- Additional unlock costs are determined by the service provider (not included in license).
