Take your Gen 2 MINI Cooper S or John Cooper Works performance to the next level with the M7 Speed MAXX-FLO™ High Flow Intake System. Designed as a direct replacement for the restrictive factory air box, this system maximizes airflow, improves throttle response, and enhances engine sound—all while maintaining OEM fitment and emissions compliance.
The intake features a precision-fabricated, heavy-gauge aluminum housing with TIG-welded construction, finished in a durable matte black powder coat. A laser-cut stainless steel M7 medallion adds a premium, motorsport-inspired look under the hood.
This kit includes a large 8-inch x 6-inch washable pleated BLUE cotton filter for superior airflow and filtration, paired with a GREEN 100% silicone 4-ply custom elbow for maximum strength and reliability. Stainless steel clamps are included for a secure installation.
Unlike other aftermarket systems, the M7 Speed intake keeps the MAF sensor in the stock location, ensuring seamless fitment with no modifications. The filter mounts to a reinforced adapter tube, avoiding stress on the fragile OEM MAF housing for long-term durability.
For even greater gains, pair this system with the optional M7 R56 Vortex 2 Scoop (sold separately) to direct more cold air into the filter, and add the M7 Turbo Heat Shield (sold separately) to combat under-hood heat soak—the number one performance killer.
