The optimized intake design improves engine breathing, acceleration, and throttle response while maintaining smooth everyday drivability.
Included is K&N's legendary High-Flow Lifetime Air Filter™, constructed with premium oiled cotton gauze filter media to provide superior airflow and excellent engine protection. The oversized conical filter features a radius-entry design that maximizes airflow and allows service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions before cleaning is required.
The custom-engineered NextGen hybrid airbox helps isolate intake air from engine bay heat while utilizing an enlarged fresh-air inlet to increase airflow and reduce intake temperatures. Quick-Lock™ technology allows the filter to install quickly and securely while minimizing installation hardware.
The durable black HDPE intake tube enhances the appearance of the engine bay while producing a deeper, more aggressive induction sound during acceleration without excessive cabin drone during highway driving.
