The IPD 991.2 Turbo Base/S/GT2 RS 3.8L 74mm Plenum is a performance-engineered intake upgrade designed to maximize the capabilities of Porsche’s legendary twin-turbocharged 3.8L engine. Developed specifically for the 2017-2019 Porsche 991.2 Turbo platform, this high-flow plenum improves airflow efficiency, enhances throttle response, and delivers substantial horsepower and torque gains throughout the RPM range.
While Porsche introduced numerous upgrades to the 991.2 Turbo engine, including revised intake ports, larger fuel injectors, an increased-capacity fuel pump, larger turbocharger compressor wheels, and more efficient intercoolers, the factory intake system remained largely unchanged. This created the perfect opportunity for IPD to further optimize airflow and unlock additional performance potential.
