The IE Race Series FDS Intercooler is the largest and most efficient intercooler solution available for the B9/B9.5 Audi SQ5 3.0T. Designed exclusively for the 3.0T platform—not shared with 2.0T applications—this upgrade uses every millimeter of space behind the front grille to deliver massive gains in cooling, airflow, and reliability. When pushing your SQ5 to the limits, whether with bolt-ons or a full Stage 3 setup, this intercooler ensures intake air temperatures (IATs) stay consistently low—eliminating heat soak and maximizing power output.
Note: This is Box 2 of 2. A complete kit requires the purchase of both IETPCZ1-Box 1 and IETPCZ1-Box 2. This box includes the Race FDS Intercooler core and high-flow silicone hoses.

FDS: Flow Distribution System
IE's proprietary FDS internal fin design distributes air evenly across the full surface area of the core, maximizing cooling efficiency. Unlike competitors, who may increase size without addressing internal airflow dynamics, FDS ensures that the entire core is utilized, resulting in significantly improved cooling and faster heat recovery.
No Leaks, No Worries
The end tank inlets and outlets are CNC machined with beveled grooves and flat-stop edges to lock hoses securely in place. Combined with reinforced aluminum charge pipes (sold separately), this design prevents boost leaks, even under extreme pressure, making the intercooler system reliable for aggressive driving and high-boost applications.
