Other intercoolers may increase size, but only IE’s Flow Distribution System (FDS) ensures the airflow is properly distributed across the entire surface of the massive core. FDS prevents hot spots in the center of the core by utilizing precisely engineered internal fin geometry that pushes airflow evenly, drastically lowering IATs and maximizing power under load.

Note: Some aftermarket radiators may not be compatible due to the intercooler’s large size. 2022+ MK8 and 8Y vehicles may require minor trimming of the plastic radiator shroud.
