The Evolution Elite intake system features a rugged, in-house roto-molded air box and intake tube constructed from high-strength Cross-Link Polyethylene (XLPE). This one-piece air box integrates multiple patented technologies, including a removable magnetic lid and a magnetic clear-view inspection window that allows quick visual monitoring of the air filter without disassembly.
A built-in velocity stack is molded directly into the air box to promote smoother, faster airflow into the turbocharger. For added flexibility, both the top cover and inspection window can be removed, allowing the intake to be converted into an open-element configuration for maximum sound and airflow.
An integrated ram air scoop sits at the front of the system, channeling cool ambient air directly into the intake path. This design helps maintain lower intake air temperatures and consistent performance under load.
The custom-tuned intake tube is dyno-tested and engineered to control airflow velocity across the mass air flow sensor, ensuring accurate fuel trims and stable air-fuel ratios. This allows the system to deliver power gains while remaining compatible with the factory ECU calibration and avoiding check engine lights.
Filtration is handled by Injen’s SuperNano-Web dry air filter, capable of trapping particles down to one micron. The large surface area promotes increased airflow, while the dry design makes maintenance simple and oil-free.
