What is the difference between this pump and CPI?
- Both CPI and the upgraded high-pressure pump address high fuel pressure dropping under higher boost levels on E85 mixtures. The high-pressure pump allows you to run higher boost levels without the need for additional CPI hardware or JB4 setting tweaks.
Can I run straight E85 with this pump?
- Yes, this pump supports straight E85 and well over 600whp. However, running heavier ethanol mixtures requires tuning changes. For JB4 customers, these changes are addressed in our JB4 back end flash maps.
