The BMS CANFlex Bluetooth Flex Fuel Ethanol Content Sensor Kit is designed for Infiniti Q50, Infiniti Q60, and Nissan Z models equipped with the VR30 3.0L twin-turbocharged engine. This complete flex fuel kit allows drivers to monitor their exact ethanol content in real time when running E85 or ethanol-blended fuels.
Featuring the latest BMS CANFlex LED Ethanol Content Analyzer (ECA), this system provides multiple monitoring options, including a built-in digital LED display, Bluetooth connectivity, CANbus communication, and a 5V voltage output for legacy support. Ethanol content can be viewed directly on the included LED display or through the BMS CANFlex or JB4PRO smartphone and tablet applications.
At the heart of the system is a genuine Continental® Ethanol Content Sensor, which accurately measures the ethanol concentration in the fuel mixture. The CANFlex ECA processes the sensor data and delivers real-time ethanol content information through its supported output methods, making it an ideal solution for drivers using E85 blends or other ethanol-based fuel mixtures.
Designed for convenient installation, this complete flex fuel sensor kit can typically be installed in approximately 30 minutes. It also includes a 0-bar fuel pressure sensor and supports CANbus operation, as well as compatibility with the optional 10-bar low fuel pressure sensor kit for future system expansion.
The included digital display box allows drivers to monitor ethanol mixtures without relying solely on a smartphone application. It also provides a voltage output for vehicles running a JB4 tuning system, offering additional integration flexibility.
Important Display Installation Note: The included CANFlex LED display box is not waterproof or weatherproof. It must be installed inside the glove box or beneath a protective cover in the engine bay to prevent exposure to moisture and environmental elements.

Important Installation and JB4 Configuration Notes
CANFlex LED Display Installation:
The included display box is not waterproof or weatherproof. It must be routed and installed either inside the glove box or underneath a protective cover in the engine bay to protect it from moisture and environmental exposure.
VR30 JB4 Flex Fuel Connection:
For the VR30 JB4 platform, connect the white or blue wire to position #4 on the JB4 25-pin harness.
Select the WMI Ethanol Setup – Option 0 to enable the flex fuel input through JB4 pin locations 2, 3, or 4.
