Description
The Fuel-It Rear Mount CANbus Flex Fuel & Low Fuel Pressure Sensor Kit is designed for BMW F-Chassis N20, N55, and S55 engines. This kit provides real-time ethanol content readings and low fuel pressure monitoring through CANbus, giving tuners and JB4 users accurate data for consistent and safe performance.
This rear-mount kit installs conveniently above the fuel pump under the rear seat, keeping the installation clean while providing precise measurements via CANbus to your ECU. Compatible with flash-only tuning systems as well as JB4, the CANflex Ethanol Content Analyzer (ECA) uses the standardized 0xEC CANbus ethanol format, with low fuel pressure transmitted in the 3rd byte.
For JB4 users, the low fuel pressure signal can be incorporated as an additional safety map trigger. Port injection tuning can also use the low fuel pressure signal to maintain consistent fueling, even when fuel pressure drops. Flash-only cars can now monitor fuel pressure to ensure sufficient flow for safe tuning. Custom CANbus commands can also be supported upon request.

If the EKP does not have CANbus wires, locate the red and blue striped twisted pair in the wire bundle next to the EKP

Verify communication by observing the green LED on the ECA: blinking indicates proper communication; solid green indicates power without communication
