Description
Improve your Audi's braking performance with Frozen Rotors Slotted by Diversified Cryogenics. Combining advanced cryogenic treatment with precision CNC-machined slots, these performance brake rotors are designed to provide improved braking bite, more consistent stopping power, and extended rotor service life.
Every Frozen Rotor features a proprietary 60-hour cryogenic treatment process that enhances rotor strength, stability, tensile strength, and resistance to abrasive wear. The treatment also helps inhibit internal oxidation and improve thermal fatigue resistance, making the rotors more resistant to cracking, warping, and brake fade. Frozen Rotors can last up to three times longer than untreated rotors, helping reduce long-term brake maintenance costs.
The precision-machined slots help prevent gases from collecting between the brake pad and rotor surface, reducing brake fade and promoting better pad contact. They also provide channels for water to escape, helping improve braking performance in wet conditions. By cleaning and refreshing the brake pad surface, the slots help maintain consistent braking bite.
Frozen Rotors are machined to the rotor's discard depth, allowing the slots to serve as a visual wear indicator. When the slots are no longer visible, the brake rotor has reached its replacement point.
Recommended for performance cars, trucks, and SUVs, Frozen Rotors Slotted are an excellent choice for demanding driving conditions, including towing and hauling applications. They deliver enhanced braking performance, durability, and a distinctive slotted appearance.
