This performance kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow induction system built for performance and durability.
At the heart of the system is a Pipercross high-flow foam cone filter housed inside a carbon fiber composite enclosed canister. This canister connects directly to a front-mounted air intake pickup using a model-specific inlet scoop, allowing the engine to draw in only cool, dense air from outside the engine bay. By eliminating the heat soak common in stock intakes, this setup delivers a true ram air effect that contributes to more efficient combustion and better engine response.
Installation is simple and secure using premium silicone couplers, which ensure durability and excellent sealing. Dyno testing has demonstrated peak wheel horsepower gains of up to 10 HP on Stage 2 tuned vehicles, with noticeable improvements in throttle response and engine tone even on lightly modified engines.
Please note that some models may include a noise resonator on the intake pipe, which must be disconnected during installation. This will not impact performance.
Installation Note: Do not overtighten the hose clamp when securing the filter. Excessive torque can damage the canister. Recommended torque: 2.0 to 2.4 Nm.
