The Forge Motorsport Blow Off Valve Kit is a high-performance atmospheric dump valve upgrade designed specifically for BMW models equipped with the 3.0L turbocharged N55 engine and Electronic Wastegate (EWG), including the BMW M235i and M2 (F22/F87) platforms.
This direct replacement is ideal for both stock and tuned vehicles, especially where boost pressure has been increased via ECU software upgrades. The factory electronic bypass valve is a known weak point—constructed from plastic and prone to deterioration over time. These failures may cause check engine lights, reduced performance, and in extreme cases, broken plastic pieces entering the turbocharger, potentially resulting in catastrophic damage.
Forge Motorsport's solution is a fully machined billet aluminum blow-off valve with a piston-based internal design—eliminating the OEM diaphragm that’s susceptible to rupture. The system provides fast and consistent response, and it’s fully serviceable with the ability to change spring pressure to match your boost targets.
