The Flowmaster Flow FX Direct Fit Dual Mode Muffler with Active Valve is designed for RAM 1500 trucks equipped with the 5.7L Hemi engine, delivering selectable exhaust sound from moderate performance tone to a deep, aggressive open exhaust note. Featuring Flowmaster’s innovative W.A.V.E. Technology (Wireless Active Valve Exhaust), this system allows drivers to control exhaust flow instantly using wireless key fobs.
In standard mode, exhaust gases pass through the straight-through Flow FX absorption-style muffler, producing a deep and refined performance tone over the factory exhaust system. When activated, the wireless-controlled actuator valve redirects exhaust flow through the Power Chamber and out of a large 3.00-inch turndown dump, unleashing a powerful and aggressive exhaust sound.
Constructed from durable 409 stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing, this direct-fit muffler assembly utilizes factory hanger locations and connects seamlessly to the OEM tailpipe. The system includes a high-quality active by-pass valve, actuator motor, control module, wiring, hardware, and detailed installation instructions, making it a complete and convenient upgrade for performance-focused RAM owners.
