Description
The Flowmaster Delta Force Performance Air Intake System is engineered to significantly enhance airflow, throttle response, and overall engine performance for Ford vehicles equipped with the 6.0L diesel engine. Designed specifically for 2003–2007 Ford Super Duty trucks and Excursion models, this direct-fit intake system delivers improved performance with a clean, aggressive under-hood appearance.
At the core of the system is a custom-molded black Cross-Linked Polyethylene high-flow intake tube, designed to optimize airflow while maintaining durability under extreme engine bay temperatures. The system includes black anodized aluminum fittings when applicable, reinforced high-quality silicone couplers, and all necessary stainless steel hardware for a secure and reliable installation.
Air filtration is handled by a large-diameter, conical-shaped high-flow air filter featuring an 8-layer cotton gauze design. This filter captures more dirt and debris than standard 6-layer filters while remaining fully serviceable for long-term use. A custom-fit black powder-coated steel heat shield with integrated mounting brackets and soft bumpers is included to isolate the intake from engine heat and eliminate metal-to-metal contact under the hood.
