Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, this oil pan is a significant improvement over the plastic OEM version, which is prone to leaks and features a brittle gasket that requires frequent replacement.
The Fall-Line oil pan utilizes a bespoke Viton O-Ring, strategically placed within an internal channel, to provide exceptional sealing capabilities. Viton O-Rings withstand extreme temperatures, from -20°F to 400°F, and offer low gas permeability, significantly extending their lifespan and eliminating the need for regular replacements.
Designed with racing in mind, this oil pan includes optimized internal baffling to prevent oil starvation during high-performance driving. Additionally, extended radiator fins on the pan's surface enhance cooling efficiency. Unlike many DCT pans that compromise ground clearance during motorsport use, the Fall-Line pan maintains an angled design, ensuring it does not drag while increasing fluid capacity.
The oil pan is also equipped with external ports, allowing for AN fittings to route an additional DCT cooler, making it an ideal choice for motorsport applications.
