Constructed from G11H18 high-carbon iron alloy, FactionFab V2 rotors are designed to withstand repeated heat cycles while efficiently dissipating heat generated during braking. The high-carbon construction helps minimize thermal stress, reduce vibration, and maintain consistent braking performance during demanding driving conditions.
The rotor surface features FactionFab's distinctive F-design directional-style slots, which help evacuate brake dust, gases, and debris from the pad-to-rotor contact area. This promotes more consistent pad contact and braking response while providing an aggressive performance appearance.
Each rotor is manufactured using precision double-disc grinding to achieve accurate thickness and a smooth, consistent braking surface. Rotors are also mill balanced to help minimize vibration and ensure smooth operation at various speeds.
For enhanced corrosion protection, FactionFab applies a full Geomet zinc coating to both the internal and external surfaces of the rotor. This coating helps protect exposed areas from rust and corrosion while maintaining a clean, performance-oriented appearance.
Depending on the application, these rotors are dual-drilled for 5x100 and 5x114 bolt patterns, providing compatibility across multiple vehicle applications. Integrated M8 threaded removal holes make rotor removal easier during brake service and maintenance.
