V2 Performance Brake Pads

FactionFab V2 Brake Pads use a semi-metallic compound engineered to provide consistent stopping power, predictable pedal modulation, and effective heat management for aggressive street driving, autocross, and light track use.

The Stage 1 compound offers an average coefficient of friction of approximately 0.39µ, with approximately 0.44µ at cold temperatures, providing strong low-temperature performance while maintaining predictable behavior as temperatures increase.

The semi-metallic formulation is designed to dissipate heat efficiently, helping maintain consistent braking performance during repeated stops. Textured steel shims help with heat dissipation and grease retention, while OE-spec backing plates, gas slots, and chamfers are designed for proper fitment and reduced vibration.

V2 Slotted Rear Brake Rotors

The included FactionFab V2 rear rotors are constructed from G11H18 high-carbon iron alloy, providing effective heat dissipation and thermal stability during repeated braking. The rotors feature FactionFab's distinctive F-design slots, which help evacuate brake dust and gases from the pad-to-rotor contact surface for consistent braking performance.

Each rotor is precision manufactured using double-disc grinding for accurate thickness and a consistent surface finish, then mill balanced to help minimize vibration during operation.

A full Geomet zinc coating is applied to the interior and exterior surfaces to improve corrosion resistance. The rotors are also dual drilled for applicable 5x100 and 5x114 bolt patterns and include M8 threaded removal holes for easier servicing.

A clear PCV outer coating helps protect the line against abrasion, impacts, and chafing, while precision-machined stainless steel fittings provide accurate fitment and corrosion resistance.

Titanium Rear Brake Shims

The included FactionFab Titanium Brake Shims provide a thermal barrier between the brake pad and caliper piston. During aggressive driving, autocross, and track use, excessive heat can transfer from the brake pad into the caliper and brake fluid. Excessive fluid temperatures can contribute to brake fade.

Made from CP3 / Grade 2 titanium, these 1.0mm-thick shims provide low thermal conductivity compared with conventional steel shims, helping reduce heat transfer into the caliper piston and brake fluid.

By helping manage caliper temperatures, the shims can contribute to improved brake consistency, reduced heat-related fade, and extended brake pad life during demanding driving conditions.
