Unlike traditional tuning methods that require ECU removal and bench flashing, the Fabspeed XperTune system utilizes a convenient handheld tuning device that communicates directly through your vehicle's OBD-II port. This allows owners to read vehicle data, receive a custom calibration from Fabspeed, and flash the ECU without removing factory components.
Using extensive in-house development and dyno testing, Fabspeed created optimized tuning calibrations for both completely stock vehicles and vehicles equipped with compatible Fabspeed performance exhaust systems. The ECU software recalibrates engine parameters including ignition timing, fuel delivery, throttle mapping, and other operating characteristics to maximize performance while maintaining dependable operation.

Tuning Process
• Read factory ECU information using the included handheld device through the OBD-II port
• Connect the handheld device to a Windows PC and send the vehicle data to Fabspeed
• Fabspeed develops a custom tune based on your vehicle configuration and modifications
• Custom tune file is delivered within approximately 1–2 business days
• Upload the tune to the handheld device and flash the vehicle
• Easily switch between stock and performance calibrations whenever desired
