- Non-Physical Product: This is a software upgrade that requires sending your ECU to Fabspeed Motorsport for re-programming. After purchasing, you will receive a download link with detailed instructions.
- ECU Information Form: You must fill out and include a copy of the ECU Information form with your ECU. Contact us if you need to send the form in another manner.
- Reversion Capability: Fabspeed Motorsport saves your stock/factory ECU settings, allowing you to revert your vehicle back to stock settings at any time.
- Shipping Instructions: Shipping costs for sending your ECU to Fabspeed are the purchaser's responsibility. The ECU will be tuned within 24-48 hours of receiving it and shipped back using the same method it was sent in with.
- Special Requests: Special requests and tune file upgrades may incur additional fees.
- June 2020 Cut-off: Vehicles produced after June 2020 use the Bosch MEVD and MG1 family of ECUs, which are locked to enhance security for autonomous driving and prevent hacking. This update prevents bench unlocking with direct ECU access.
