Description
The Evolution Racewerks Sports Series 4" Metallic High Flow Downpipe is engineered for the 2016+ Alfa Giulia (952) and 2017+ Alfa Stelvio (949) with the 2.0L turbo engine. Designed to replace the restrictive factory downpipe, this high-flow metallic downpipe increases horsepower, torque, and turbo spool speed while improving throttle response.
Using a 200-cell metallic catalytic converter instead of the factory 600-cell ceramic core, exhaust gas flows more freely, reducing backpressure and turbulence. The metallic converter withstands higher temperatures, is more durable, and is lighter than factory ceramic units.
The downpipe features a cast stainless steel turbo inlet for a smooth transition from the turbocharger, followed by mandrel-bent 4" piping that gradually transitions to 3" to connect to Evolution Racewerks midpipes or factory exhaust systems. This design reduces backpressure immediately at the turbo outlet, improving turbo spool and throttle response.
Constructed from 100% 304 stainless steel, including hardware, the downpipe is fully TIG welded in-house in the USA. Precision CNC-machined flanges and laser-cut brackets ensure perfect fitment. O2 sensors are positioned at factory locations, and optional additional O2 or EGT bungs can be added for wideband or temperature monitoring.
Available in Brushed Finish (standard) or optional Polished Finish. High-temperature black ceramic coating is also available to reduce underhood temperatures, increase corrosion resistance, and maintain exhaust gas velocity.
