Description
The Evolution Racewerks Sports Series 4" High Flow Catted Downpipe is engineered to dramatically improve exhaust flow, turbocharger response and overall performance for the 2020–2025 Toyota Supra 2.0 B48 engine found in EU and Asia market vehicles. Built in-house in the USA, this downpipe eliminates the significant restriction created by the factory 900-cell ceramic catalytic converter by replacing it with a far less restrictive 200 cell metallic high-flow cat.
The reduction in cell density allows exhaust gases to move through the converter with much less resistance, improving flow, reducing backpressure and enhancing turbo efficiency. The result is noticeably quicker turbo spool, improved throttle response, increased horsepower, a stronger torque curve and more consistent power delivery. Average gains are 9 to 11 whp, with torque gains of approximately 15 wtq on stock boost and more than 20 wtq when paired with software tuning.
Constructed entirely of 304 stainless steel, the Evolution Racewerks Sports Series downpipe uses mandrel bent 4-inch piping to provide a smooth and unobstructed path for exhaust gases. Every unit is TIG welded for maximum durability and precision. The turbocharger V-band flange is CNC machined from billet 304 stainless steel for exact fitment. In addition, the CNC machined stainless steel billet ball joint flange eliminates the turbulence created by the factory press-formed ball joint, maintaining a smooth internal surface that optimizes exhaust velocity and reduces unwanted backpressure.
The factory downpipe transitions from the turbocharger’s 4-inch outlet to the 3-inch exhaust using short, abrupt tapers. Evolution Racewerks improves on this by using extended, gradual transitions that allow gases to move smoothly from larger to smaller piping, reducing turbulence and promoting faster turbocharger response.
A stainless steel flex bellow section is incorporated to maintain proper exhaust movement and reduce stress on the turbocharger, manifold and exhaust system. This protects the system from damage over time and prevents impact-related stress on lowered vehicles. Unlike cheaper alternatives that use partial stainless steel, this flex section is fully stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and durability.
O2 sensor provisions are positioned in the OEM location, with optional additional bungs for wideband O2 sensors and EGT sensors. All optional ports include pre-installed plugs. The downpipe retains the OEM-style ball-type V-band connector, ensuring compatibility with both factory and aftermarket exhaust systems. Each downpipe includes all required installation hardware and is supplied with a brushed stainless steel finish, with an optional polished finish available.
Customers may also select a high-temperature black ceramic coating rated up to 2000°F. This coating keeps heat energy inside the exhaust, which maintains high flow velocity, reduces underhood temperatures and increases component longevity.
For markets using the Otto Particulate Filter, an OPF-compatible version is available to maintain full emissions-related functionality.

This Evolution Racewerks Sports Series 4" High Flow Catted Downpipe fits:
- Toyota Supra 2.0 (A90/A91) with the B48 Engine — Model Years 2020–2025 (EU and Asia Spec Only)
This downpipe is specifically engineered for B48-equipped EU/Asia market vehicles. It does not fit the B46 U.S. spec engine. The B46 and B48 downpipes are not interchangeable.
OPF Compatibility:
Some EU and Asia market vehicles are equipped with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF). A compatible version of this downpipe is available to retain full OPF functionality.
