The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit is engineered as a high-strength, high-flow replacement for the failure-prone factory plastic charge pipe found on BMW N20 and N26 turbo engines. Designed to handle increased boost levels, this upgraded kit eliminates the factory weak points while improving throttle response, airflow efficiency, and overall reliability on both stock and tuned vehicles.
Constructed from lightweight mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum, the charge pipe provides smooth airflow with minimal restrictions, reducing turbo lag and supporting higher power output. The upper pipe uses 2.75-inch tubing to perfectly match the factory throttle body for maximum flow. Evolution Racewerks incorporates a precision CNC-machined throttle body flange that duplicates the OEM o-ring lock connection, ensuring a secure, leak-free seal and fast installation. Unlike competing designs that rely on silicone couplers at the throttle body, this OEM-style locking system offers superior durability and boost retention.
A CNC-machined MAP sensor flange is also included, guaranteeing proper sealing and eliminating the boost leak issues that occur when sensors are mounted through silicone couplers. The kit includes both the upper and lower charge pipes, each equipped with beaded ends and T-bolt clamps to prevent blow-offs under high boost pressures. Two 1/8" NPT bungs (pre-capped) allow for easy integration of methanol or nitrous injection or serve as a boost reference source.
Available in brushed, polished, or Type III Hard Black Anodized finishes, the charge pipe system offers improved cosmetic appeal and increased surface durability. The anodized coating provides added resistance to damage from impact or wear, making the kit suitable for both daily driving and motorsport use. All necessary hardware is included, and the system maintains compatibility with the factory electronic diverter valve.
