Description
The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit for the E-Chassis N20 engine replaces the fragile factory plastic charge pipe with a durable, high-flow aluminum upgrade engineered for improved performance and reliability. Designed specifically for the 2011–2015 BMW X1 s/xDrive28i and 2011–2016 BMW Z4 sDrive28i, this kit enhances throttle response, reduces turbo lag, and eliminates the risk of the OEM pipe failing under increased boost.
Crafted from lightweight 6061 aluminum, both upper and lower charge pipes feature smooth mandrel bends to optimize airflow and maximize power potential. The upper charge pipe uses a 2.75" diameter to match the factory throttle body, improving flow over the stock 2.5" pipe. A precision CNC-machined throttle body flange replicates the factory o-ring locking design for a leak-free, secure, and easy-to-service connection—far superior to the silicone-hose solutions used by many competitors.
A CNC-machined MAP sensor flange ensures proper sensor sealing using the OEM o-ring method, preventing boost leaks and preserving accurate sensor readings. Both pipes include beaded ends and T-bolt clamps to eliminate the risk of boost pressure blowing the piping off during high-load conditions.
For added versatility, each pipe includes a pre-capped 1/8" NPT bung for methanol or nitrous injection, or for use as a vacuum/boost reference port. Silicone couplers, clamps, and all necessary installation hardware are included.
