The Eventuri Carbon Turbo Inlet Tube for the Toyota GR Yaris and Toyota GR Corolla is engineered to improve airflow between the intake system and turbocharger by reducing restriction and increasing available air volume before the compressor inlet. Designed specifically for the G16E-GTS turbocharged engine platform, this high-performance carbon turbo inlet provides a smoother, larger airflow path to support improved turbocharger efficiency, faster boost response, increased mid-range torque, and enhanced peak power potential.

Through extensive development, Eventuri focused on optimizing two critical areas of the factory turbo inlet system: increasing the available air volume directly before the turbocharger and improving airflow through the restrictive lower bend section of the OEM inlet tube. The factory turbo inlet design limits airflow volume under high load conditions, restricting the amount of air available for the turbocharger to draw from.

Eventuri redesigned the inlet geometry and increased the internal volume from approximately 1,300 cm³ to 2,200 cm³, creating nearly a 70% increase in available air volume compared to the factory component. This larger air reservoir allows the turbocharger to draw air with reduced restriction, helping decrease wastegate duty cycle, improve throttle response, and allow peak boost to be achieved earlier through the RPM range.

Dyno testing of the Eventuri Toyota GR Yaris / GR Corolla Carbon Turbo Inlet Tube demonstrated gains of up to 14 wheel horsepower and 19 ft-lb of torque through the mid-range, with approximately 9 wheel horsepower and 9 ft-lb of torque gains at peak RPM. These improvements make the turbo system more responsive while supporting additional airflow demands from performance upgrades.

The primary inlet tube is manufactured using rigid pre-preg carbon fiber construction, providing exceptional strength while preventing deformation caused by turbocharger vacuum pressure. The carbon tube connects to a specially designed nitrile elbow and a precision CNC-machined aluminum turbocharger flange, creating a durable and high-flow connection with factory-style fitment and reliability.

The Eventuri GR Yaris / GR Corolla turbo inlet system is also designed with future turbocharger upgrades in mind. The CNC-machined turbo flange features a modular design, allowing the inlet system to be adapted for compatible larger hybrid turbocharger applications by replacing the flange instead of requiring a complete new carbon tube assembly. Additional flange options may be available separately as compatible turbocharger applications are developed.
