Designed to deliver strong stopping power with dramatically reduced brake dust, Redstuff is an ideal rear brake upgrade for drivers who want cleaner wheels without sacrificing braking confidence.
EBC Redstuff ceramic pads are built using an advanced synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles and contain no steel fibers. This design reduces brake dust by approximately 60–90 percent compared to traditional pads. Any remaining dust is light-colored and easily removed, helping keep wheels clean even under aggressive driving conditions.
Redstuff provides excellent braking performance right from cold, matching or exceeding OEM rear pads, and continues to improve as temperatures rise. With a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, these pads offer consistent bite, smooth modulation, and strong resistance to heat fade during repeated braking. Compared to earlier non-ceramic Redstuff formulations, this compound delivers longer pad life, quieter operation, and noticeably improved braking control.
These rear pads feature EBC Brake-In surface coating, which helps condition the rotor face and speeds up the bedding-in process. Due to the hard-wearing nature of the compound, full bedding may take up to 1,000 miles, and proper break-in is essential for optimal performance and longevity.
