The Dorch Engineering Kelford Camshafts for BMW B58 Gen1 combine Kelford's proven high-performance camshaft profiles with an upgraded Dorch Engineering high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) lobe.
Dorch Engineering is a proud partner of Kelford Cams, working together to offer Kelford's proven B58 camshaft profiles with an upgraded HPFP fuel lobe. The Dorch Engineering HPFP lobe provides 40% more direct-injection fueling capacity compared with the stock HPFP lobe, giving performance-focused B58 builds additional fueling capability.
The camshafts are available in Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 profiles and can be configured with either the stock HPFP lobe or the Dorch Engineering +40% HPFP lobe.

BMW released the B58 in several engine revisions. Kelford categorizes the applicable engines as Gen1 and Gen1.5, so verifying your B58 engine generation is important before ordering.

Stage 1 Performance Camshaft
The Kelford BMW Gen1 B58 Stage 1 Performance Camshaft features 270°/268° camshaft profiles designed for B58 engines equipped with bolt-on intake, exhaust, and turbocharger upgrades.
The Stage 1 profile is intended for engines running a 58–68 mm turbocharger while maintaining full functionality of the factory Valvetronic and Dual VANOS systems.
This combination is designed to retain good throttle response and provide a broad powerband while supporting increased performance from upgraded turbocharger and airflow components.
HPFP Lobe Options
The camshafts can be configured with either the factory-style stock HPFP lobe or the upgraded Dorch Engineering +40% HPFP lobe.
The Dorch Engineering HPFP lobe provides 40% more direct-injection fueling capacity, giving modified B58 engines additional fueling capability when paired with the appropriate Dorch Engineering HPFP system.

- Stage 1: Designed for bolt-on intake, exhaust, and turbo upgrades.
- Stage 2: Higher-performance camshaft profile for more extensively modified B58 engines.

Important Installation Requirement
Upgraded valve springs are required.
Kelford Cams recommends the KVS58-BT valve spring and retainer kit for these camshafts. Upgraded valve springs should be installed before operating the engine with the Kelford performance camshafts.
