  • The plastic factory intake manifold restricts airflow and is vulnerable to cracking under high boost.
  • The direct injection-only setup can be limiting for high-horsepower applications, requiring additional fuel delivery solutions.

The do88 Solution – Advanced Cooling & Performance

  • High-performance Bar & Plate air-to-water intercooler core with a 102mm (4-inch) thick design and 11 cooling rows (OE has only 6).
  • Optimized cast aluminum end tanks, developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for maximum airflow and even charge air distribution.
  • Thermal barrier spacer included, insulating the aluminum manifold from the cylinder head's heat, reducing intake air temperatures (IATs) and improving efficiency.
  • Integrated sensor pad with three 1/8” NPT ports for additional measurements or as vacuum sources (sealed with included plugs).
  • Individual 1/8” NPT ports on each cylinder runner, allowing for nitrous or methanol injection (sealed with included plugs).
  • Designed for direct fitment, requiring no modifications for installation.

Fueling & Compatibility Features

  • Injector blanking plugs included for those not using port injection.
  • Retains compatibility with the OEM engine cover. With modifications, it can also accommodate the auxiliary fuel rail (confirmed on BMW 340i F30/F31).

Easy Maintenance & Installation

  • Quick-access spin-off oil filter design, eliminating the need to remove the manifold for oil changes.
