Description
Upgrade your BMW's turbocharger airflow, responsiveness, and induction sound with the Dinan D760-0062 Carbon Fiber Turbo Inlet Pipe. Designed to replace the restrictive, failure-prone factory plastic turbo inlet, this performance upgrade features durable carbon fiber construction and CNC-machined fittings for precise fitment and direct OEM replacement.
The Dinan turbo inlet pipe is engineered to improve airflow efficiency by increasing the volume and optimizing the internal path through which air enters the turbocharger. The factory inlet incorporates sound resonators and other features that can restrict airflow, create turbulence, and suppress turbocharger induction noise. By eliminating these restrictions and providing a larger, more uniform airflow path, the Dinan inlet helps the turbocharger ingest air more efficiently while enhancing turbo responsiveness and amplifying the distinctive turbo induction sound.
With a 14% increase in overall volume compared with the OEM inlet and an average internal diameter increase of 7.7% throughout, the Dinan D760-0062 maximizes the available cross-sectional area for improved airflow. Its carbon fiber construction offers increased durability and a premium appearance compared with the factory plastic component.
Designed as a direct replacement for the original turbo inlet, this performance upgrade features CNC-machined fittings for proper alignment and a straightforward bolt-on installation. It combines airflow optimization, enhanced turbocharger sound, and robust construction in one performance-focused component.
Important Fitment Note: LCI BMW X3 M40i and X4 M40i owners who want to install the Dinan D760-0062 Turbo Inlet Pipe for maximum sound must also use the Dinan Inlet Fit Kit, part number D763-0101. The D760-0062 will not connect to either the factory intake system or the Dinan intake system on these LCI applications without the required fit kit.
