Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, the DCE Parts Valvetronic Exhaust is engineered to deliver a more engaging exhaust note while maintaining excellent comfort and drivability. With the valves closed, the system provides a refined and controlled sound profile that is well suited to daily driving and highway cruising.
When the valves are opened, the exhaust produces a deeper, sportier, and more aggressive exhaust tone, giving the 420i or 430i a more engaging character under acceleration. The valvetronic design allows the driver to switch between a quieter and more performance-oriented exhaust sound as desired.
Electronically Controlled Valves
The DCE Parts system uses high-quality electronically controlled exhaust valves designed for reliable operation and long-term durability. The included valve controller and remote controls allow convenient adjustment of the exhaust valves.
This setup provides the flexibility to enjoy a more subdued exhaust note during normal driving and a more aggressive sound when driving enthusiastically.
Axleback or Full Catback Options
The DCE Parts Valvetronic Exhaust is available in two configurations:
Rear Muffler Axleback:
Replaces the factory rear muffler section and provides an effective way to enhance exhaust sound while retaining the rest of the original exhaust system.
Full Catback:
Provides a more comprehensive exhaust upgrade by replacing the relevant exhaust components downstream of the catalytic converter, offering a more complete change in exhaust sound and character.
Please select either the rear muffler Axleback exhaust or the full Catback system when ordering.
Premium Construction
The system is manufactured from high-grade stainless steel for durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability. Titanium construction is also available as an optional upgrade for customers seeking a lightweight, premium-material solution.
The exhaust can also be fitted with optional exhaust tips, allowing you to further customize the appearance of your BMW 4 Series.
