If the vehicle has factory catalytic converters in the headers/manifolds, the selected midpipe configuration may replace the secondary catalytic converters. Before installation, verify your vehicle's emissions configuration and consult your local authorities to determine whether the resulting setup complies with applicable emissions and road-use regulations.
If the factory catalytic converters have been removed or replaced with upgraded headers, a catted midpipe may be appropriate depending on the vehicle configuration and applicable local emissions requirements.
