Description
The DBA Front Race Performance Brake Pads (DB1845RP) are engineered by DBA (Disc Brakes Australia) specifically for the extreme demands of professional track and circuit racing. Designed to operate reliably under sustained high temperatures, these pads deliver consistent, high-friction braking performance where street-oriented pads fail.
Utilizing a carbon fibre–enhanced low-metallic racing compound, DBA Race Performance pads maintain stable friction characteristics even when operating temperatures exceed 350°C (662°F). This formulation ensures predictable pedal feel, exceptional modulation, and strong stopping power during aggressive braking zones and repeated high-speed deceleration.
DBA’s Race Performance compound is optimized for a working temperature range of 250°C to 750°C, making it ideal for competitive motorsport environments. A built-in thermal underlayer improves heat dissipation and pad-to-backing-plate bonding strength, enhancing durability and safety during extended track sessions.
These pads are part of DBA’s dedicated RACE PERFORMANCE (RP) lineup and are not intended for street or road use. They are strictly designed for track-only applications where extreme heat resistance, fade control, and friction stability are required.
