Transform the sound and character of your OEM turbocharger with the DaddyTurbos T51R Modification Service for the Subaru WRX VA. This turbocharger modification is designed to produce the distinctive T51R-style turbo sound while retaining compatibility with the OEM turbocharger setup.
The DaddyTurbos T51R modification is designed to work with the stock tune, with no supporting modifications required. For customers looking to maximize the sound enhancement, an aftermarket metal turbo inlet is strongly recommended.

Selection Options
Option 1 — $399 Send-In Service
Choose this option if you already have a turbocharger housing that you would like modified.
- Send in your compressor housing for the T51R modification service.
- Ideal for customers who already have downtime planned.
- Hybrid turbochargers are possible. Select this option and provide the turbocharger details in the special instructions at checkout.
If you need to send the complete turbocharger instead of only the housing, select “Yes” for the disassembly/reassembly service. An additional $150 charge applies.

Option 2 — $799 Core Exchange Option
Choose this option if you need DaddyTurbos to provide a pre-modified housing.
This option is ideal for customers who daily drive their WRX and want to minimize vehicle downtime. A separate OEM housing is modified and shipped directly to you for installation.
Core Charge Information
A refundable $300 core value is included in the price.
- Your core refund is issued once your original OEM housing is received.
- The core must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
- Failure to return your OEM housing forfeits the $300 core value.
Returned cores are used to help keep pre-modified housings available for future customers. Please return cores promptly.
