Upgrade the sound of your Gen 1 B58-equipped BMW or Toyota Supra with the Gen 1 B58 T51R Turbo Mod, engineered to maximize the audible characteristics of your OEM turbocharger. This modification gives your vehicle a deep, aggressive turbo sound reminiscent of large top-mount turbo setups or turbo diesel engines, turning up the “volume” of your stock turbo without compromising OEM performance.
The T51R Mod for Gen 1 B58 is plug-and-play and requires no retune or supporting modifications. To achieve optimal results, an aftermarket turbo inlet is required, as the OEM inlet pipes are designed to muffle turbo noise and will limit the effect of this mod. The inlet is machined off and replaced with a welded 3" coupler, allowing for full compatibility with performance aftermarket inlets, such as the ARM Motorsports inlet kit.
Core availability is required for installation; if you choose the "I need a core" option, you can return your removed compressor housing for a $300 refund. This ensures proper fitment and performance while keeping your turbo setup safe and reliable.
