Upgrade the performance of your VW or Audi with CTS Turbo's K04-X Hybrid Turbocharger for 2.0T FSI/TSI Transverse Engines. Our engineers have designed the compressor cover to accept a larger billet compressor wheel and exhaust housing to work with the clipped K04 turbine wheel, exactly as intended. Unlike other manufacturers who simply install a larger CHRA into a small factory-spec housing, our high-quality castings are CNC machined to replace your factory turbocharger and do not require any additional parts to be installed aside from supporting mods.

The K04-X Hybrid 2.0T FSI/TSI Transverse Turbocharger Upgrade is a high-performance upgrade, and as such, supporting mods are required. We do not recommend using this turbo with factory exhaust and intercooler systems. With proper tuning and supporting mods, this turbo will support up to 400HP, making it the best Hybrid K04 turbo available for VW and Audi enthusiasts with the 2.0T FSI and 2.0T TSI transverse engines.

The CTS Turbo K04-X Hybrid Turbocharger features a CTS-spec HYBRID K04 CHRA with heavy-duty thrust bearings, a larger billet compressor wheel machined from solid, and a clipped K04 turbine wheel. The compressor and turbine housing are K04-X specific and not a reworked factory housing, ensuring OEM+ manufacturing tolerances. The turbocharger is VSR high-speed balanced and is a direct-fit factory replacement, with an OEM installation kit included. It is compatible with any HYBRID K04-specific tune, but not compatible with standard K04 tunes. It is also compatible with the factory turbo outlet pipe (both FSI or TSI) but not compatible with aftermarket stock turbo outlet pipes.

To prevent damage due to oil starvation, it is recommended to use Pro-Line Turbocharger additive for initial lubrication of new or replaced turbochargers. The oil intake passage of the turbocharger is filled with Pro-Line Turbocharger Additive before the oil supply line is connected. It is suitable for all turbochargers and mixable with all common motor oils.
