CTS Turbo is proud to announce our CTS IS38 replacement turbocharger for MQB vehicles.
Our IS38 replacement turbocharger can be installed into 2015+ MQB vehicles as a direct replacement for IS38 turbo; or as an upgrade to IS12 and IS20.
Please note that proper tuning software must be used when upgrading from a smaller turbo – check with your tuning software provider. Any IS38 software is compatible.
CTS Turbo downpipe and intercooler are recommended if upgrading.

Installation is a straight-forward replacement of the factory turbo, using all OEM gaskets and hardware. Simply transfer your diverter valve or BOV and wastegate actuator (not included).

NOTE: Always follow the proper procedure for checking/adjusting the wastegate actuator when installing the turbo! Always replace engine oil and prime the turbocharger before starting. Professional installation recommended.

Provides initial lubrication of new or replaced turbochargers to prevent damage due to oil starvation. Damage to turbocharger may occur within seconds of engine start if not lubricated properly. Pro-Line Turbocharger additive will provide needed protection and allow proper break-in of new units which prevents additional repairs.
* The oil intake passage of the turbocharger is filled to the brim with Pro-Line Turbocharger Additive before the oil supply line is connected. Suitable for all turbochargers. Mixable with all common motor oils.
