Enhanced Design for Maximum Performance
The CSF Charge-Air Cooler Manifold improves upon the limitations of the stock manifold, especially for vehicles with upgrades like turbo kits, increased fueling, and performance tuning. CSF’s manifold minimizes heat soak, which is common with OEM systems during demanding racing conditions or aggressive street driving. This results in lower intake air temperatures (IATs), faster recovery times, and less strain on the turbo system, ultimately leading to increased performance and horsepower.
Testing & Results
Through extensive testing with CSF’s R&D partners, including Titan Motorsports and VF Engineering, CSF has confirmed significant performance improvements. On the dyno, the CSF manifold showed a ~30°F reduction in IATs compared to the stock manifold. Additionally, pressure drop was reduced, allowing for more efficient turbo operation and enabling vehicles to avoid limp mode under high-demand conditions.
On a Stage 2 vehicle making 400whp, the CSF manifold achieved a gain of approximately 26whp and 11wtq compared to the OEM manifold. As vehicle power levels increase, the performance gap between CSF and OEM will expand, making it the go-to choice for high-performance applications.
